Gratis Receipts

The following function button that we will cover is the Gratis Receipts button.

·    Gratis Receipts       

To add additional gratis receipts to your GRV click on the Gratis Receipts button to load a gratis receipt line to your data entry grid. This will be annotated by a Black legend next to the line that has been loaded.

You can now proceed and select a stock item from your catalogue that has been delivered on the same invoice as Free of charge or in this instance a Gratis Receipt.  Select a stock item in the same way that has been described in a previous module and capture the amount that has been delivered.

The only difference with regards to a Gratis receipt is that the Invoice Price (Excl) column can not be edited. This will result in the stock levels of the stock item been adjusted accordingly as well as the average price which will reflect the additional stock influence over the average price.

The additional stock shows that the average price has decreased as a result of the Free stock that was received.
