The table consists of the following components:

·    Invoiced:

This cell shows the quantity of stock items that have been invoiced for the current GRV taken from the Supplier Invoice.

·    (- Delivered:

This cell displays the quantity of stock items that have been delivered and captured by the receiving clerk.

·    (- Bonus:

This Bonus shows any over deliveries on the stock item that might have been delivered with the current GRV. This Bonus is calculated by comparing the received quantity with the invoiced quantity and loading the difference as a bonus.

·    - Returned)

This cell represents the quantity of stock items that have been returned to the supplier. A return need not relate to the current delivery but could be a return of stock items from a previous delivery.

·    =To Claim:

Your claim is represented by the amount of stock items that are returned to the supplier. A returns claim will be raised automatically and will be able to be printed out as soon as this GRV has been finalized.

·    Order Price, Invoice Price and Claim

This section of the Stock Information Table calculates the difference between the original Order Price vs Invoiced Price  and then it calculates the difference and multiplies it by the claims cell to calculate the value of the claim that needs to be raised.

It is very important to note the Current Price vs Future Price base on current document calculator. This once again highlights the change in the average price of the stock item that is been received.

The legend on the left-hand side of the data entry grid gives the user a graphical representation of what has happened and makes them aware to the fact that the average price has changed and a claim is going to be raised as a result of the change in the cost price of the stock item.

Note: The claim calculation is also linked to the claim deviation % percentage of the stock item when it was setup. The claim deviation can be setup under the stock items Option Tab found under the product creation section.

·    Invoice Quantity:

This is the total quantity of stock items invoiced as per the supplier invoice.

·    Total

This total is the total value of the claim that will be raised.

Note: The manner in which a claim is processed is dependant on the way that the flag settings are setup under the supplier.

Below the Stock Information Table we find additional function buttons which become available as stock items are entered into the data entry grid.

We will now cover those function buttons that are used during the GRV process.
